Divvy Parking Unlocks Entry to Commercial Property with New Partnership

Sydney, Australia, 26 February 2015 — Corporate commercial property management is set to undergo a digital reawakening with a new partnership announced between high-growth property tech companies Divvy Parking and Inlink.

Divvy Parking, the pioneer of parking leasing technology in Australia, has joined a new partner program with Inlink, who provide integrated digital property communication services to Australia’s office towers. The partnership means Divvy will now be the recommended and preferred partner for management of parking assets in more than 60 per cent of all commercial buildings, when combining Divvy’s existing portfolio with Inlink’s.

The partnership gives Divvy the opportunity to integrate its technology with thousands of commercial tenants nationally and openly communicate its ideas about the future of property resource management with them.

Divvy Founder Nick Austin said the partnership with Inlink marks the next phase of Divvy’s endeavour to improve commercial parking pressures in our cities.

“In the next few years we’re going to see the commercial property sector undergo a significant step-change thanks to technology,” he said. “There is some catch-up to be done to other industries who have already undergone technological revolution.”

“The existing model needs to shift. Inlink’s partner program is a key example of how tech companies are collaborating to offer more compelling solutions in tenant services, and to property owners.

“The industry will benefit immensely from this increased connectivity and transparency.”

When property and facilities managers use Divvy to handle their parking portfolios, their yields will be improved by the monetisation of spaces that sit unused due to poor visibility. Vacancies will be better managed and above all, they will be able to provide their own customers and employees with a sophisticated parking booking and payment platform, rather than relying on archaic methods used today. The technology is giving control back to owners and managers of property assets.

Inlink’s managing director Oliver Roydhouse said:

“We don’t believe just one company can ever provide the best solution for a client. The days of that model are over. To truly deliver a best of breed solution in commercial property communications we have partnered with best available suppliers to integrate with our platform.”

Divvy’s partnership with Inlink follows recent success of pilot programs onboarding the parking portfolios of major commercial property organisations including GPT Group and Knight Frank.

Inlink’s Partner program begins national roll out this week.

Commentary from property owners partnering with Divvy

Aaron McGhee, Knight Frank’s Managing Director said:

“We’d been looking for an innovative solution for some time, the industry is crying out for it. Working with agile technology companies is part of our ongoing strategy and Divvy has played a key role in driving us forward in this space,  delivering flexible solutions for our clients which have not previously been available.

“We’ve already seen material improvements in the management of our parking assets.”
